Our hope

Our hope is to see the people of Maisha Bora break the cycle of poverty for themselves by realising their God-given potential and meeting their own needs:

Since October 2008, local Food for the Hungry staff have been running a community development programme with a long term view of helping 350 orphaned and vulnerable children and 125 of the poorest families realise this hope in the above listed areas.

Today, local Food for the Hungry staff are walking alongside 13 other communities across Kenya, developing through similar programmes, which you can read about here.
