Our work in Bangladesh is focused on helping women and girls gain literacy skills and generate a sustainable income for themselves and their families.
Since 2008 we have been supporting work alongside the children in the community of Maisha Bora, central Kenya, to combat unemployment , disease and the consequences of HIV/AIDS.
This project - also in central Kenya - started in April 2005 and is anticipated to run for about 10 years with an appropriate exit strategy. Currenlty the project is being entirely funded by Highfield Church, Southampton.
The community of Puerto Camacho, La Paz, have been supported since 2010 , with the goal of transforming the community as a whole by focusing on 100 of the most vulnerable children living there today.
We are at the early stages of developing a community transformation plan to work with the community of Mwumba which seeks to focus on the most vulnerable in the community.
Much of Northern Uganda has been devastated by the Lord's Resistance Army insurgency for the last 20 years. This project focuses on the rehabilitation of peoples from one community - Yepa - as they return to their homes to rebuild their lives .
