Our people

Our UK team is comprised of part and full time employees, backed up by a committed group of volunteers

Staff and Volunteers

Doug and Jackie Wakeling

Doug became executive officer in 1999 and Jackie joined as a volunteer supporting the work done in Southampton. Today Jackie keeps a focus on overseas staff and HR, whilst Doug’s focus is on supporter relations and general support. Doug and Jackie previously served with Mission Aviation Fellowship in Kenya.

Paul Cornelius

Paul joined in April 2007 after a time in business and is contributing toward FH UK in a leadership role from his place of work in Bucks.

Graham and Jessica Marris

Graham and Jessica contribute to the essential administrative side of any charity on a voluntary basis and have been focusing on Child sponsorship.

Charlene Hayden

Charlene has been contributing towards FH/UK since late 2007 and joined in March 2008. She is focused on the Women of Action campaign for Bangladesh.

David Finlay

David graduated in 2007 and joined Food for the Hungry in early 2008 to help in the area of child sponsorship.
