important announcement

After nearly ten years of outstanding and faithful service Doug Wakeling has concluded his time with FH UK. During his time as Executive Officer of FH UK Doug took a fledgling organisation and created a professional, credible and substantial Christian Charity which laid the foundation of what we are today and also created the infrastructure and systems to build the organisation for the future.
Over this period there have been many success, too many to mention, which enabled a very significant number of people in the field to be helped by supporters in the UK. Not only has he indirectly helped thousands of people out of dire poverty by what he has been doing, he has also developed the understand of hundreds of people in the UK about the issues of poverty and what the Lord has commanded us all to do about it.
Jackie Wakeling has also stepped down. The best wishes of all connected to Food for the Hungry UK are extended to both Doug and Jackie for their tireless work as they look to commit their skills and talents towards a fresh challenge in the future .
