| Nyaga being the head of his family trusts that whatever God does, he has a purpose. He views FHI as an agent of change in Nkunga and that many residents in this village will change positively through FHI/K. Nyaga and his wife live in Nkunga in a timber house which is built on a very stony piece of land. They are both united and take care of their children and grand children. The wife does all chores in the house and joins Nyaga who is sickling (suffers from high blood pressure) in their small piece of land and they both work together. The grand children are in school but the rest of his kids left school due to problems. They completed class eight but didn’t join high school. Their daughter give birth at home while she was not married and left 2 children home and never come back. The other child belongs to their son who died and his wife also left leaving the child alone. Nyaga who is a Christian from seventh day Adventist trusts that FHI will not only help people materially but will also unite the churches in Nkunga and hence the spirit of love and togetherness. |
