| Martha is a grandmother of two grandchildren. All her own children except one are grown and have left home to struggle for their own life. Her last child who is 12 years old has also left school and gone to look for a job as a house girl. Martha takes care of these grandchildren alone. They live in a very stony piece of land and they have only 3 goats. Martha does all the chores in the house alone, despite her age. She goes very far to fetch water. Mary is always sick; and she finds it hand to provide for these two children for food, education and medicine when they are sick. Martha who is a Christian believes that FHI is sent by God to come to assist the needy in many ways. Those who are needy spiritually and materially. |  |
